It was an unpredictable evening in Poland. The huge rainfall made ​​the qualifications into a sort of lottery. The first 60 men did a run on a dry track. The last 30, best ranked riders, had to go through the pouring rain. Joost didn’t make it to the finals. More info to follow on RoseVaujany.com.

Joost won the Scott Nightsprint at Bike Festival Garda in Italy. The track was as flat as it could be. No descent to be found. Joost his BMX-background was still there, but it was a tough race: “My legs hurt a lot. It was a short sprint, all the way to the extreme”. Click here for more info.

But bad luck kept Joost from the big final. A technical defect in the semi-final made 5th place the highest position possible. “But I felt good, that gives confidence for the next race,” he said.
