It was a close call, the World Cup Mountainbike in Houffalize was almost cancelled, due to financial shortfalls. Cyclingnews.com reports that the event is 'saved'.

Good news for Four Cross fans in the Netherlands. Houffalize (in the Ardennes) is the nearest World Cup round this year. The town hosts two disciplines. Besides Four Cross mountainbike-enthousiasts can enjoy some Cross Country action.

So take a trip to this little town, it's worth it. Last year several fans of Joost The Boost were present. The World Cup will take place on May 1-2.
