Last weekend I took a trip to Winterberg for Europe’s biggest freeride festival. With over 30.000 spectators, 1400 riders and 160 stands I think the organizers can say the festival was a huge success.

Unfortunately I was the only member of the R.S.P. Racing Team who took part in the 4-cross race. On Friday there was the qualification run. I ended up 2nd just behind Jared Graves and just in front of Roger Rinderknecht, not bad.

As I had not booked a hotel in Winterberg I was happy that I could stay on Fischbach’s couch for the night. The next day Fischbach was feeling bad, maybe because of the romantic dinner for 2 with candlelight which we had the night before...haha!

The race on saterday went well, till the final I won all my races. In the final I had a good gate, but I had a meeting with Jared’s elbow after 2 strokes and was out of balance.
