It was a thriller! Joost just won the third Nissan World Cup in Andorra as you could have seen at joostwichman.com. It's his first Wold Cup win ever. A magnificent result!

Qualification went bad but Joost was still very confident. 'It's all about tommorow, that's when we ride for the prices.' And everything went smoothly untill the semi final. We had already seen some spectaculair stuff and the semi final with Wichman, Meijer, Slavik, Graves (3 R.S.P. riders!) was also great to watch.

Joost struggled with his teammate Slavik for second place. And it looked as if Slavik would go to the final...But suddenly, just 2 turns away from the finish, Slavik crashed. So once again, the big final for Joost.

The final was one to remember. Madill, Wichman, Rinderknecht and Graves at the gate. After the drop, Joost closed the door on Madill and was in third position towards the first turn. That turn was a close call. Graves, Rinderknecht and Joost could barely stay on their bike.

Rinderknecht was off to victory. But Joost came back and caught up with him just before the last big turn. Joost went for the inside and came out first! Straight to the finishline...A great win!
