Joost set the third time during qualifications. A good result. Rinderknecht was the fastest, Saladini took second place. And there were a lot of suprises...

It's was a evening full of flat tires. Nearly all the riders suffered from punctures, Graves and Prokop even during qualifications. That explaines the results.

Joost did well, setting the third time, just behind Rinderknecht and Saladini. Unfortunately he's seeded in the difficult part of the schedule. If he get's through the first round, it's likely he'll be up against teammate Slavik and in the semis a heat with Saladini, Prokop, Slavik and The Boost is an option.

But to win the World Championships you have to beat 'em all, sooner or later.
