First time on the World Cup Four Cross schedule: Windham, USA! Joost finished his preperations for the World Championships and is going to check his strength this weekend.

Windham got enthousiastic feedback during national events and the UCI decided to reward the organizers and let them host the World Cup final. It's a triple event and the first in the USA in five years. Besides the World Cup there is a Mountainbike Festival with all sorts of spectacular side-events.

The Four Cross track got some finishing touches from wellknown designer Phil Saxena. You can take a look at a preview video here. We hope to let you know how Joost thinks about it tomorrow.

As usual, the qualifications are on friday, 1830 local time. That will be 0030 CET. You can follow it on the UCI website with live-timing. Finals are saturday, 1900 local time, 0100 CET. Watch it live on Freecaster.tv.

A quick look at the start list shows us that some riders will be absent. Like Saladini, Atherton and Mechura. It's nice to see that the R.S.P. riders are going to compete against a lot of unknown riders, from the USA, Canada and Columbia.

Joosts focus will be on the World Champs, a week later. But he is surely going to test his strenght after a period of intense training. Will see what happens!
