Dissapointment in the rain. Joost didn't make to the semi finals due to a bad start in 1/4. Up untill then everything went smoothly on a soaking wet track.

Just like last week, his starts were good and he took the first turns with much confidence. After that it looked rather easy, because Joost was flawless. In the 1/4 final he was up against teammate Slavik, Mechura and Tschugg. Quit a heavy quater final but it could be done.

The gate dropped and Slavik took the holeshot, in the first turn something went wrong because Joost lost all his speed and came out the second turn in 4th position. On a track like the one in Leogang it's almost impossible to get back in front. It was a disillusion because you could see Joost was riding good and fast.

In the end Graves won the final, Graf came in second and Slavik took third place. But we were already thinking about the next race...
