Coach Bas de Bever, in charge of the Dutch gravity mountainbikers, announced his squad for the World Championships Mountainbike in Canada. This event will take place 2-4 September in Mount St. Anne.

At the gate will be Joost, his teammate Jurg Meijer and Anneke Beerten. Joost en Anneke are considered to be contenders for a medal. Maybe even the title.

After the World Cup in Leogang, Joost decided to focus entirely on this event. His list of results still lacks a World Championships medal and he is determined to get it in Canada.
