Great news: the European Champions Four Cross 2010 is back on the schedule. The event will take place during the Bike Festival in Willingen, Germany. The exact date is yet to be set. A few months ago it's was likely that the 2010 season would be without continental championships. The organizing committee in Wilthen was not able fill the gaps in their budget. They had to cancel the event. Bike Festival Willingen took over although the exact date isn't set yet. However it will take place during the festival, from June 11 till 13. This means a great opportunity for all Dutch gravity mountainbiking fans! Willingen is only about 3 hours away when you cross the border at Arnhem! Joost Wichman won the European title twice. Last year he was 9th. Michal Prokop won the European Championships, because he was fastest in the qualification round. Heavy rainfall made it to dangerous to ride the finals. |
