Up untill the big final everything went just as planned. Joost qualified 2nd, had no troubles in his heats but got tangled up in the first turns during the big final.

It was a great evening with some exciting 4X on a spectacular track. Joost was flawless but in the big final, against Graves, Rinderknecht and Tschugg, his start was just not good enough. That caused a massive battle in the first two turns.

The differences between the top riders were small. Once you got behind on this dry track, it was difficult to catch up. After the dissapointment in Leogang it was nice to see Joost in the final again, the place were he ought to be.
